Two days training on safe operation and maintenance of power chainsaw was successfully conducted at Chautara, Sindhupalchowk from 25 to 26 March 2019 and at Banepa from 9 to 10 April 2019. The participants were the local forest users, Forest Officers and Forest Rangers. The training was organized to introduce knowledge and build skills on how to safely operate hand-held chainsaw in community and small-scale forestry operation and maintain them in operating condition. Additionally, it developed skills required for implementing Active and Equitable Forest Management systems of the EnLiFT2 project.
